Favorite Hobby Outside Of School:
Outside of school 1 of my favorite hobbies to participate in is coaching wrestling. I know that it’s not technically outside of school, but it is something that I am passionate about. Wrestling has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Making the transfer from competing to coaching has been a great experience, especially with the Goodhue coaching staff.
Another hobby that I enjoy doing is spending quality time with my family. I enjoy going back to the family farm outside of town to see my parents, siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews. As my brothers and I get older it's a little harder to see each other so I take every opportunity I can.
Most Memorable Experience Since Teaching:
I can’t narrow it down to one distinct memory unfortunately, but I will say that I have greatly appreciated the praise I have received from my coworkers and students' parents. Whether it be in the school building or out in the community, people tell me they are happy that I found my way back to Goodhue and that it’s good to see me in purple again.

Why Did You Choose To Become A Teacher / Educator:
I chose to become an educator because I ultimately wanted to be able to give back through my teaching and coaching. Going through school I had amazing people around me that weren’t just educators but role models who played a part in making me into the person I am today. Many of them, I now get to teach alongside. I thought that being able to stand in their shoes would be an awesome experience, and it has been so far!
