The City of Wabasha, Athletic Field Steering Committee members will celebrate a groundbreaking ceremony on its new athletic field, on Thursday, July 6 at 1pm.
The $2.1 million project will include new softball and baseball fields, hockey and skating rink, basketball court, pickleball and tennis courts.
There is also a capital campaign underway for the project.They are working to raise approximately $500,000 in community donations to complete the project.
