A non-profit in Red Wing has been giving area musicians and non-musicians alike a chance to learn from and prepare a live performance with a pair of professional musicians and compose and record original music with a Twin Cities music producer the past several weeks.
Universal Music Center Founder, Mike Arturi, says pros Lucy Lunser and Simon Dingmann have worked with two separate rock bands who will perform a FREE live concert at the Sheldon Theatre this Sunday, at 1:30 pm.
Lunser says it’s been a great learning experience for the young members of the bands
Lunser says the song list, which includes songs by Led Zeppelin, Fallout Boy, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Stevie Nicks and the Beatles.
Producer Bionik Beats has been working with a separate group of students on their part of the show Sunday. They created original music they will share.
There is no cost for the family friendly 90 minute show Sunday at 1:30 pm at the Sheldon Theatre.
