The Vikings are in the market for a new starting quarterback for the first time since 2018. Kirk Cousins signed a four-year, 180-million-dollar contract with the Atlanta Falcons yesterday, just a few months after telling reporters that his next contract wouldn't be about the dollars. Cousins spent six seasons with the Vikings, but he only led the team to the playoffs twice and finished with only one playoff win. He passed for 2,331 yards, 18 touchdowns, and five interceptions before tearing his Achilles in Week Eight. The Vikings also signed QB Sam Darnold to a 1 year deal.
Aaron Jones, one day after being released by the Green Bay Packers, is expected to sign a one-year, $7 million deal with the rival Minnesota Vikings, his agents told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Cashman is a former Minnesota Gophers linebacker, and he signed a three-year deal worth 25.5 million dollars. The Vikings also re-signed back-up offensive linemen David Quessenberry and Blake Brandel yesterday.
