The League of Women Voters of Red Wing are hosting a pair of candidate forums for voters to learn about the people behind the names on our local ballots.
Meet the candidates for Mayor, Gary Iocco, and Nicky Buck; Ward 2 Council candidates, Don Kliewer and Min MartinOakes, and Wards 3 & 4 candidates Ben Weldon and Beth Thomas Snyder, today from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Red Wing High School auditorium.
Council President Kim Beise has no one opposing him in Ward 1 in the November election.
Meet the candidates for Goodhue County Board and MN House District 20A on Tuesday, October 15th, also from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Red Wing High School auditorium.
Incumbents Linda Flanders and Susan Betcher are running unopposed for the Goodhue County Board.
Incumbent Pam Altendorf, a Republican, is opposed by Democratic newcomer Heather Arndt.
