As temperatures continues to rise and we're headed into the hottest time of the year, the coolest places around Red Wing will soon be open.
The splash pad, 1333 Mason St. at the Athletic Field, will open Memorial Day weekend. Don't forget, the splash pad is free for all to use!
The Red Wing Water Park opens for the season on June 7; you can get your season pass and information about hours, concession stand, admission rates, swimming lessons and more online on the city’s website, https://www.red-wing.org/, just click on the Community tab and look under Parks and Recreation and click Aquatics.
