Updating the City of Red Wing’s sign ordinance has been on the Advisory Planning Commission's wish list for a while.
Plans to update the sign ordinance are finally coming to fruition, and if you've ever had thoughts about how to make it better, your chance to tell them at a community meeting on Thursday, February 20 at 6:30 pm at the Ignite Building, 419 Bush Street.
The primary driving force behind the updates is to comply with a federal ruling that regulations should focus on issues like sign size and location and not content.
