The Salvation Army Kettle campaign is underway and Stacy McConnell, Store Manager of the Salvation Army Thrift Store in Red Wing, located at 501 Plum Street, says they could use additional volunteer bell ringers.
She says there are kettles set up in Family Fare in Red Wing and Cannon Falls, Walmart in Red Wing, and Island Market in Pine Island.
McConnell says the usual shifts are two hours. All money raised stays in Goodhue County to help those that need hope through help and this years goal is $15,000.
McConnell says the proceeds from the bell ringing truly help fund it’s mission.
Bell ringing goes through Saturday, December 24th, the Kettle Campaign runs through Saturday, December 31st.
