Parking limits downtown and along Old West Main Street in Red Wing will change in 2025 and the City of Red Wing invites the public to attend one of the upcoming community meetings for more details.
The city recently concluded several community surveys and have been making plans to make sure parking is more consistent for residents and visitors, especially in light of all the new housing development in these areas.
Last year, the City shared initial parking plans for downtown and the West End District based on public feedback. The meetings gives the public one more chance to view the plans and discuss the future of parking in Red Wing.
Attend any or all of the meetings to be part of the conversation, and bring others who work, live, or shop in these districts.
West End District meeting is Wednesday, January 29, 10:30 a.m., at Holiday Inn, 1919 Old West Main Street.
Downtown meetings will be held Wednesday, January 29, 6:30 p.m., at Ignite Building, 419 Bush Street and Thursday, January 30, at 10:30 a.m., at the same location.
