A Red Wing man is facing numerous charges in the death of a child earlier this year after he was indicted by a Goodhue County Grand Jury last Friday.
27-year old Hunter Matthew McCutchen is charged with two counts of Murder in the First Degree and 13 additional charges in relation to the death of McCutchen’s 8-week-old child on May 25, of this year.
The indictment was the result of a four-and-a-half-month investigation by the Red Wing Police Department and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
McCutchen appeared on the indictment in Goodhue County District Court on Monday and is being held at the Goodhue County Adult Detention Center on $2-million dollar cash bail.
The defendant’s next appearance is set for November 13th.
