The Red Wing Police Department received a call Wednesday from the Red Wing High School regarding a threat.
At this time, the threat is not believed to be credible, but investigation into the case is continuing.
The call came in at approximately 2:22 p.m. yesterday and a Red Wing Police School Resource Officer was on scene and worked with district employees to gather information.
Additional Red Wing Police Department officers also arrived on scene within minutes of the call.
The school initiated safety protocols while officers began investigating the reported threat.
Officers remained at the scene until students were released at their normal release time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
