Red Wing High School Radium Girls Production

The Red Wing High School’s production of Radium Girls this week is based on a real story based in the 1920's.

Senior Lucy Johnson, plays Grace Fryer, who is hired by U.S. Radium to paint watch faces during the war.

Johnson says unlike most Red Wing High School productions that are comedys, this tells the true tragic story of several women.

Jonah Scott, a Junior at Red Wing High School, portrays Arthur Reeder, the girls boss who denies anyone might be suffering radium poisoning.

Performances in the Red Wing High School’s Little Theatre are Thursday and Friday at 7 pm and Saturday, a matinee at 2 pm and the last show is Saturday at 7 pm.

Tickets are $5 for adults, free for students and will be available at the door.
