The City of Red Wing will have a full week of activities, programs, challenges and educational opportunities during Earth Week, April 16-22.
David Anderson, President of the Friends of the Bluff, who has partnered with the City for Earth Day activities for a few years, says Red Wing Earth Week 2023 will be centered on accelerating solutions to combat climate change by activating the community.
Anderson says there is Litter Clean up 7 bags in 7 days challenge proving a little effort can make a big difference.
Anderson says the City will provide a week full of no cost free activities, and programs for all ages. There will be a free tree giveaway Friday, April 21st for pickup at the Red Wing Public Library from 11 am -6 pm.
