The Red Wing Area Food Shelf continues to meet the needs of the community and staying busier than ever. Â
Food Shelf Manager, Amy Schaffer, says they have recently implemented a color coding system for people who are going through aisles of the food shelf.
David Anderson, board member of the Food Shelf as well as a volunteer, says the need for volunteers continues. He says they could not do what they do without them.
Volunteers help unload shipments from the Channel 1 Regional Food Bank truck and assists community members who use the food shelf.
Â
