The Power of 100 Red Wing, a group of women who give $100 each and dedicate cash donations to non-profit organizations twice a year, has selected their 3 finalists for this weeks 2024 Fall Impact Event.
HOPE Coalition:
(HOPE) is the sole resource for people facing domestic violence and sexual assault in Goodhue and Wabasha Counties and a primary resource for those needing basic needs met in our coverage area.
Hope & Harbor:
Red Wing city code doesn’t currently allow a physical space for a homeless shelter, so six years ago, they started one that rotated between churches. They hope to someday have a year-round shelter and a day program/community resource center.
RiseUp Red Wing/Community Youth Council (CYC):
The Community Youth Council is a group of youth who come together to discuss the happenings in Red Wing, aim to make youth feel more included by advocating through local and state government. They also focus on providing youth with leadership and involvement opportunities.
The fall Impact Award Event will be held this Thursday at the Elks Lodge in Red Wing from 6 pm - 8 pm.
