The Wabasha-Kellogg PTO is looking for support from the community in fundraising to improve the playground experience for older elementary students at WK Elementary School.
PTO President, Kala Koch says they are fundraising for new playground equipment, including structures resembling an obstacle course.
Studies show kids get more out of this type of eqiupment, including more active play and even higher grades.
Koch says they are looking at an inclusive structure designed to support all students, including those with disabilities, which is not curently available.
