Current Plainview Mayor, Aaron Luckstein, is wrapping up his four year term shortly after the New Year.
Luckstein says when he was elected, we were still dealing with the Covid outbreak so he and the City Council dealt with rapid changes to rules and regulations.
Once that crisis passed, Luckstein worked with the Council to keep the community better informed about items on the Council agenda.
Luckstein says updating and re-tooling the lengthy City Building and Development Code took a lot of time but it has made the process much easier and quicker for the public.
Luckstein thanks the community for it’s support the past four years.
Plainview’s new Mayor, Keith Holm, is planning on continuing the WPVW segment, Minute with the Mayor, with new host, WPVW morning dj, Logan Brueur, after the new year starts.
