At a special board meeting on Thursday, the Plainview-Elgin-Millville School Board unanimously voted to select Courtney Frie as the districts next superintendent.
Frie is currently the Elementary Principal at Kasson-Mantorville Public Schools.
Jason Bade (body), Plainview-Elgin-Millville School Board Chair, says “We believe Courtney Frie has demonstrated leadership skills and will bring new and creative ideas Plainview-Elgin-Millvile Schools. We are excited for this new chapter for our students and community”.
The school board will be conducting negotiations with Frie and a contract is expected to be approved by the school board at the March 10th board meeting.
The pending start date for Frie will be July 1st.
Erick Enger has been the interim superintendent this school year.
