The Plainview-Elgin-Millville Community School Board unanimously selected six semi-finalists to interview for the school district’s superintendent position.
The semi-finalists are:
Jennifer Bayley, Regional Literacy Coach, Minnesota Department of Education – COMPASS, MN
Courtney Frie, Elementary Principal, Kasson-Mantorville Public Schools, MN
Dr. Jeremy Hill, Principal, Fremont County School District, WY
Dr. Michael Neubeck, Superintendent, Byron Public Schools, MN
Donita Stepan, Superintendent, Carlton Schools, MN
Mark Winter, Principal, Rock Ridge Public Schools, MN
The semi-finalists were selected from a pool of applicants based on criteria established by the school board, as well as survey input provided by Plainview-Elgin-Millville Community Schools staff and members of the public.
The school board interviewed three, Stepan, Bayley and Frie, last night with the remaining semi-finalists beginning at 6 pm tonight.
All interviews will be held at the PreK-3 Building Media Center (600 West Broadway) in Plainview and are open to the public.
To ensure a level playing field for all candidates the interviews will not be livestreamed or recorded.
