The City of Red Wing City Council unanimously approved the appointment of Nick Sather as the new Red Wing Police Chief Monday night.
Sather has been working as Assistant Police Chief under current Police Chief, Gordon Rohr, who will be officially retired as of February 9th.
Chief Sathers official swearing in will happen at the next City Council meeting, Monday, February 12th.
