Rachel Evangelisto, who made pageant history in June by becoming the first Native American to win Miss Minnesota, representing southeastern Minnesota as Miss Winona, is leaving for the Miss America competition Friday.
The preliminary rounds are Monday, December 12th and Tuesday the13th, the Pageant is December 15th.
Rachel says she’s excited and she’s ready to represent Minnesota.
Like last year, Miss America will be livestreamed on NBCUniversal’s Peacock across all time zones.
