Starting today, road access to Memorial Park in Red Wing will be closed until around Friday, October 18 as the the contractor performs work on East Seventh Street between Centennial Street and Highway 61.
The closure will allow for the placement of concrete pavement and curb and gutter in the Memorial Park entrance.
This work is anticipated to be completed by later in the week but will need a week of cure time to allow traffic. The park will reopen by Friday, October 18.
Motorists are encouraged to stay alert and drive carefully through the work zone.
