Hope and Harbor The Next Step Opening

Red Wing Hope and Harbor has announced the opening of The Next Step, a new community resource center dedicated to walking alongside individuals and families as they take their next step toward stability, connection, and hope.

The Next Step will open Monday, April 21st downstairs in the Christ Episcopal Church, 321 West Avenue. It has signage and it’s own entry.

Hope and Harbor Executive Director, Kenzi Reuter, says unlike their winter homeless shelter, the new space is designed to assist the entire community, providing resources to legal services, physical and mental health, transportation, education, employment, and much more.

Reuter says there are far more non-profit organizations in Red Wing and Goodhue County than people may think, and The Next Step will be an easy way for the community to sort through which ones may be of assistance.

Hours are Sunday, Monday and Fridays noon - 5pm, Tuesday 9 am - 2 pm, Thursday from 3 pm – 8 pm and closed Wednesday and Saturday.

A Grand Opening and Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting will be Monday, May 19th.
