Home Plate Grill & The Dugout Lounge Closing

A downtown Red Wing business announced on social media over the weekend they would be closing it’s doors soon.

The message read, in part,

“To Our Valued Guests, as of June 6th, 2025, unfortunately, the time will come for Home Plate Grill & The Dugout Lounge to close its doors indefinitely. This has been a journey we will not soon forget, and we will always reflect on the great times spent with Red Wing and surrounding communities.

We absolutely loved being a part of the community and look forward to the next chapter for the next business to take over one of the greatest spaces in one of the greatest buildings in downtown Red Wing.

The decision has been difficult, and we ask the public to remain respectful in all assumptions, thoughts, and ideas as to the reasons for this closure.

We thank you all for the years of patronage, friendship, and comradery, and we look forward to seeing everyone another time or two before the game night lights go out.

Until then, our hours will be as follows: Thursdays: 3-9 pm, kitchen closes at 8:30 pm.

Fridays and Saturdays: 11am – 10 pm, kitchen closes at 9:30 pm.”
