Resurfacing work on Highway 61 from Wabasha to Minnesota City was completed last week and the road is fully open again to traffic, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The project resurfaced 27 miles of southbound Highway 61 from Wabasha to Minnesota City, improved seven bridges, made enhancements in Weaver and installed a Reduced Conflict Intersection (RCI) at Highway 61 and Highway 42 near Kellogg.
MnDOT thanks everyone for their patience and attention to safety while construction work occurred this season to improve the road.
