This year, Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center (HVMHC) proudly marks a significant milestone: 60 years of providing essential mental health and substance use services to southeastern Minnesota.


Today, HVMHC provides a comprehensive range of services, including mobile crisis, therapy, medication management, teaching community-based health skills and housing with support for adults.


The organization also continues to reduce stigma and promote awareness through partnerships with schools, businesses, and community groups.


HVMHC began in 1965 with its first clinic in Winona and today they are proud to serve Fillmore, Goodhue, Houston, Wabasha, and Winona counties with clinic locations in Caledonia, Red Wing, Wabasha, and Winona.


HVMHC’s mobile crisis unit is available 24-hours a day in Fillmore, Goodhue, Houston, Wabasha, and Winona counties.
