Greater Lake City Community Five For Food

Five For Food, Greater Lake City Community Foundations Annual iniative for the Lake City Food Shelf is more than half way to it’s goal of raising $50,000 by March 31st.

Bruce Carlstrom, Five For Food Coordinator for the Community Foundation, reports that as of March 10th, the total stands at just over $31,000.

Lake Hits 95 is proud to be one of 32 sponsors that have pledged $25,500 to be used to match contributions received from the community. Contributions of $5 and more will be matched up to the total of the sponsor pool.

If you are interested in donating to those in need in the Lake City community, you can donate by check, payable to the Lake City Food Shelf. Mail it to the Greater Lake City Foundation, P.O. Box 86, Lake City, MN 55041.
