The Goodhue County Board has scheduled a public hearing date for the Goodhue County Cannabis Ordinance for Tuesday, October 15th at 9 am.
County staff from Administration, the Attorney’s Office, Finance/Taxpayer Services, Health and Human Services, Land Use Management, and the Sheriff’s Office have been meeting regularly to discuss and draft a proposed Goodhue County Cannabis Ordinance.
The proposed Ordinance will regulate cannabis retail registration procedures, registration enforcement, and use of cannabis products in places of public accommodation and will apply to all areas outside of City limits within Goodhue County.
The public hearing will be conducted during the regular meeting of the Goodhue County Board which will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the County Board Room on the 3rd Floor of the Goodhue County Government Center 509 W 5th Street, Red Wing.
The meeting will also be streamed via Microsoft Teams accessible from www.goodhuecountymn.gov.
