Fall Color Changes Update

It’s mid-October the changing of the leaves in southeast Minnesota continues to be about a week to 10 days behind the last 2 years schedule.

According to the Fall Color Finder on the Minnesota DNR website, as of Tuesday, all but the northern most part of Goodhue County, the northern half of Wabasha are now at 50-75%.

The remainder of Goodhue, Wabasha, as well as all of Winona County and 90% of Olmsted County were still at 25-50% peak.

Most parts of Dakota County are in the 50-75% category, with only the southern border still at 25-50%.

In western Wisconsin, as of Tuesday, Pepin and Trempealeau counties are at 60% peak.
