Downtown Red Wing has collaborated with the Goodhue County Historical Society and unearthed some great stories in town and are featuring them in their “history tour" program that community members can enjoy.
The Landmarks, Legends, and Lore Tour is accessed via QR codes using the camera feature on any smart phone. Discover the 10 QR code stickers located in windows of iconic downtown buildings.

Iron Works owners led a coloured regiment during the Civil War and brought some of their former men to work in RW.
Other self-guided tours offered include, the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railroad Depot, St. James Hotel, Boxrud Brothers Block, Webster Livery Stable, T.B. Sheldon Memorial Auditorium and several others.
