Don't hide them, flush them, or throw them in the trash, as part of the annual DEA National RX Take Back Day, you can safely dispose of old medications Saturday in several locations.
The following agencies and locations are participating Saturday from 10 am – 2 pm:
Dakota County Government Center (1589 Hwy 55, Hastings, in the parking lot next to the Law Enforcement Center. A secure drop box is available 24/7.
Prescott and Pepin Police Departments, and Buffalo and Olmsted County Sheriff’s Offices.
Buffalo County Sheriff will also be collecting expired medications from 9 am to 1 pm at the Buffalo County Highway Shop.
