The finalists for the City Council Administrator position with the City of Red Wing have been named.
Christopher Heineman currently serves as the City Administrator with the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, where he has been in the role for six years.
Prior to this, he served as the Community Development Director/EDA Executive Director with the City of Northfield, Minnesota, for six years, as the City Administrator/EDA Executive Director with the City of Kenyon, Minnesota, for four years, as the Economic Development Authority Executive Director with the City of Lake City, Minnesota, for two years, and as the Economic Development Director with the City of Anoka, Minnesota, for two years.
Robert Keehn currently serves as the City Administrator with the City of Lake City, Minnesota, where he has been in the position for six and a half years.
Prior to this, he served as a Senior Planner/Project Manager with WSB & Associates for one and a half years, as the Director of Planning & Community Development with the City of Lake City, Minnesota, for eight years, as the Planning Services Division Manager with the City of Carbondale, Illinois, for two years, and as the Planner with the City of Carbondale, Illinois, for two years.
Aaron Reeves currently serves as the Deputy Director of Public Works – Business Operations with the City of Boulder, Colorado, where he has been in the role for one year.
Prior to this, he served as the City Administrator/HR Director with the City of Hudson, Wisconsin, for four years, as the City Administrator with the City of Cloquet, Minnesota, for two years, as the Assistant City Administrator I and City Clerk/Development Coordinator with the City of Rochester, Minnesota, for nearly four years, and as the City Administrator with the City of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, for six years.
Kay Kuhlmann, current Red Wing City Council Administrator, is set to retire in March of 2025.
Kuhlmann has been City Council Administrator for the City since July 1997.
