If you were tuning in KCUE Bluff Country from home or in your car and you heard a lot of static you might not be very happy with the sound quality of the broadcast, but the gentleman who caught a liner promoting KCUE and the following song on his radio in Sweden would disagree.
Stefan Gustavsson, who lives in Djura, in the middle part of Sweden, province Dalecarlia, about 3 hours ride from Stockholm, sent Q Media an email with the story and sound clip he captured on his Perseus SDR receiver and outdoor antenna, type ”Beverage”, 750 meters long.
The recording was made at 3.36 am our local time (9.36 am UTC) on the 7 of December 2024.
Gustavsson loves his interesting hobby, known as DX-ing, and wrote us stating he has received verifications from 622 stations in US (all states represented) and from 125 stations in Canada.
