Red Wing Downtown Mainstreet is getting ready for another fun filled Holiday Stroll coming up Friday, November 24 from 4-8 pm.
Angela Frechette, Office and Events Coordinator, says the theme this year is Have Yourself a Very Tacky Red Wing Christmas. Back this year is the Gingerbread House Contest at the St. James Hotel with a choice on what you build.
Frechette says the Tree Lighting Ceremony will start at 5 pm at the corner of Bush & 3rd Street and the Christmas Tree Trail will be open from 4-7 pm at Jordan Court.
Other returning favorites include the Medallion Hunt, which kicks off Wednesday, November 22, photos with Santa, Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, Commemorative Ornament,
Festival of Wreaths, Lighted Parade at 7:30 pm, and much more.
Choosing to purchase a button to support the event is optional for everyone. Buttons have been provided to the United Way and Hope Coalition for families with financial challenges. Pickup a button now for only $3 or $5 the day of the Stroll.
